Registration & Cancellation Policies for Reservations
You'll need to pay for your event when registering in order to guarantee your spots.
If you can't make your reservation, group, class or tour and you tell us more than 48 hours beforehand, we are happy to re-book you if spots are available. If you realize less than 48 hours before the lesson, unfortunately it might be too late to re-book. There are no refunds unless we cancel due to circumstances like weather.
If weather is a factor, we will let you know about a cancellation at least 2 hours prior, in which case we will give you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
If you are taking a class we need a minimum number of students and if it looks like there won't be enough; we'll let you know at least 24 hours before the lesson. But you don't have to miss out! You can reschedule your lesson at no cost, or just get a full refund. It's up to you.
Everyone in your party needs to complete the online waiver before arrival!
Let us know if you have questions.
Directions and Check-In
We are directly under the Key Bridge on the Georgetown side of the river at 3500 Water Street Northwest; Washington, DC 20007 (used to be called K Street NW).
When you arrive, check in at the front desk. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early and be aware that parking can take some time.
Is not very accurate as we are under the bridge. You can put in 3500 Water Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007; just be aware of where the GPS is taking you.
Biking is the best way! There are bike racks at the boathouse, so we encourage you to bike, paddle and bike some more! Please bring your own locks. We are very close to the Capital Crescent Trail.
The best way to get here is via metro. We are just a short 10 - 15 minute walk across the Key Bridge from the Rosslyn stop.
There is very limited street parking in the area. A few blocks to the east on Water Street (next to the Lowes Theatre) is a parking garage. There are several other parking garages in Georgetown.
This course is offered at a 20% discount to our Season Pass Holders. If you are a season pass holder, please be sure you bring your member card with you upon arrival.
What to Wear and Bring
Early Spring weather in D.C. can be fickle. Please pay attention to the forecast on the day of your tour. We recommend bringing a hat, water resistant gloves, rain jacket, and a change of clothes (just in case!).
For extra safety (and pictures!), we're going to have our safety boat following the group.
Bring a camera! If you are afraid of your camera getting wet, it's a good idea to bring a waterproof bag - Ziplock bags work great!
Remember, this is a 3 hour paddle! Make sure to bring along a bottle of water and something to snack on.
