Registration & Cancellation Policies for Classes and Tours
You'll need to pay for your event when registering in order to guarantee your spots.
If you can't make your class or tour and you tell us more than 48 hours beforehand, we're happy to give you a refund (less a $25 registration fee), or give you a full credit toward your next lesson or class. If you realize less than 48 hours before the lesson, unfortunately it's too late and we can't offer a refund.
Each lesson needs a minimum number of students and if it looks like there won't be enough; we'll let you know at least 24 hours before the lesson. But you don't have to miss out! You can reschedule your lesson at no cost, or just get a full refund. It's up to you.
If weather is a factor, we will let you know about a class cancellation at least 2 hours prior, in which case we will give you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Liability Waiver
Everyone in your party needs to complete the online waiver before arrival!
Let us know if you have questions.
Directions and Check-In

Directions and Check-In

Our driveway entrance is located at the busy intersection of Virginia Avenue NW and The Rock Creek Parkway, at 2900 Virginia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007.

When you arrive, check in at the front desk. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early and be aware that parking can take some time.

You can put in Thompson Boat Center or 2900 Virginia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007.

Biking is easy! There are bike racks at the boathouse, so we encourage you to bike, paddle and bike some more! Please bring your own locks. We are located near the Rock Creek Park Trails.

The best way to get here is via metro. We are just a short, 10-minute walk from the Foggy Bottom stop.

There is very limited lot parking on site, but the boathouse is an easy walk from Georgetown. If the lot is full, limited street parking may be available. Additionally, Colonial Parking (3000 K St NW, Washington, DC 20007) and Central Parking (2600 Virginia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20037) are two garages that are a 5-minute walk from the boathouse. There are several other parking garages in Georgetown.
